Publish your changes
Put your edits live with one button, see every version you've published, and restore an older one if you need to.

Video coming soon. The written steps below cover everything in the meantime.
Edits you make in My site are saved as a draft. Publishing puts them on your live site.
1. Select Publish
The Publish button is at the top right of My site. It waits while your draft is still saving, while a change couldn’t be saved, and while a field has a problem to fix. Hover over it to see why it’s off. If something needs fixing, the editor tells you how many fields to check.
If a change couldn’t be saved (for example, your connection dropped), the editor says Offline · not saved or Couldn’t save. Select Retry. When your connection comes back, it also tries again on its own. If you try to close the tab before your changes are saved, your browser asks first.
If your site was changed in another tab, or by someone else, this tab stops saving so nothing gets overwritten. It lists what wasn’t saved here. Select Reload now to continue with the latest version. To keep your changes, leave the tab open, open the latest version in a new tab and make them there.
On the calculator and service area settings pages, select Save changes first. Publish waits until your settings are saved.
While it runs, you see the progress: “Building pages: 2 of 3”, for example. Pages that didn’t change are reused, so publishing is quick.
2. Check your live site
Select View live to open your site in a new tab. Until you connect your own domain, it lives at your free address, yourname.skaude.site.
To share it, use Share link on the Overview page. It copies your site’s address.
3. Go back to an older version (if you need to)
Select Version history to see every version you’ve published. The one on your site has a Live badge. Select Restore next to an older version, then Restore and publish to put it back live.
Blog posts go live on their own
Blog posts don’t wait for Publish. Publish post puts a new post live (and publishes your site with it), and a scheduled post goes live at its time. Saving changes to a post that’s already live updates it on your site right away, without publishing your other edits in My site. If the update doesn’t go through, the editor says so and offers Retry. Picking a scheduled time that has already passed publishes the post right away; the editor warns you first.
Taking a post down is just as direct: moving a published post back to Draft or Scheduled, or deleting it, takes it off your live site within a minute. Your other unpublished edits in My site stay unpublished.
Note: If publishing takes longer than expected, your live site stays as it was. Try again in a minute.
